Corid 1.25% Pellets Indications
An aid in the prevention and treatment of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in calves.
Corid 1.25% Pellets Caution
For satisfactory diagnosis, a microscopic examination of the feces should be done before treatment. When treating outbreaks, drug should be administered promptly after diagnosis is determined.
Do not use in Type B or C medicated feeds containing bentonite.

There are approximately 5,670 mg of amprolium in every 1 lb of CORID 1.25% Pellets.
FEEDING INSTRUCTIONS:
CORID 1.25% Pellets should be thoroughly and evenly mixed in the feed in accordance with good manufacturing practice. The proper amount of CORID 1.25% Pellets should be mixed daily with the ration consumed each day. If preferred, it may be top-dressed on the feed. The tables below give suggested directions for feeding CORID 1.25% Pellets.
Use Directions:
21-DAY PREVENTION: CORID 1.25% Pellets should be fed daily for 21 days (5 mg/kg) at the rate of 1 lb (453.6 g) for each 2500 lb (1134 kg) body weight, or approximately 0.4 lb (6.4 oz) (181.6 g) for each 1,000 lb of body weight. This amount will supply 226.8 mg amprolium/100 lb body weight. Feed during periods of exposure or when experience indicates that coccidiosis is likely to be a hazard.

5-DAY TREATMENT: CORID 1.25% Pellets should be fed daily for 5 days (10 mg/kg) at the rate of 2 lb (907.2 g) for each 2500 lb (1134 kg) body weight, or approximately 0.8 lb (12.8 oz) (363.2 g) CORID 1.25% Pellets per 1,000 lb of body weight. Use on a herd basis only; when one or more calves show signs of coccidiosis, it is likely that the rest of the group has been exposed, and all calves in the group should be treated.
