Bloat Treatment

This treatment applies to the following species:

Surfactant preparation providing a release of the entrapped gas in the froth.

Composition

Each fl oz contains:

Docusate Sodium

240 mg

In an emulsified soybean oil base.

Store at controlled room temperature between 15° and 30°C (59-86°F).

Shake well before using.

Bloat Treatment Indications

An aid in the treatment of frothy bloat in ruminants and as a fecal softener.

Contraindications

Do not use concurrently with mineral oil or other drugs.

Dosage and Administration

Administer as a drench or via stomach tube.

Adult Cattle: 12 fl oz

Young Cattle, Sheep, and Goats: 6 fl oz
