Acid-A-Foam EVO is used as an alternative to regular hatchery, equipment or barn cleaner to remove detergent residues, mineral scale and other hard-to-remove elements. A clean surface is required for complete disinfection. Alternating between a good alkaline detergent and a good acid-based detergent maximizes surface cleanliness and, therefore, prepares the surface for the second step of disinfection. Acid-A-Foam EVO removes dirt, grime, protein, and oils as well as minerals and adherent films.
Recommended Areas Of Use
For Poultry Hatcheries: Walls, floors, ceilings of rooms, setters, and hatchers. Manual cleaning of trays, racks, plastic flats, and boxes.
For Farm Uses: As a general cleaner and deodorizer in poultry houses, swine and livestock barns, and as a wetting agent to wash down poultry houses and swine and livestock barns.
For Food-Processing Plants: Use on floors, walls and shelves, utensils, and walk-in coolers. It cleans and brightens stainless steel, glass, plastic, concrete, and tile in poultry, meat, and canning plants.
Directions For Use
As a General-Purpose Cleaner for Walls, Floors, Feed Pails, Waterers, and Equipment: Use Acid-A-Foam EVO as a 0.75% to 2.5% solution (1 to 3 fl. oz. per gal. of water) (8 to 24 mL/L). Vary the amount depending on the soil load and how difficult the surface is to clean. Acid-A-Foam EVO may be used through high-pressure cleaning equipment, foaming devices, steam cleaners, or it may be used manually with a cloth, sponge, or brush. After cleaning, rinse away soils with fresh water, or wipe off with a clean sponge.
For Food-Processing Equipment, Utensils, and Other Food Contact Surfaces: Clean as above. Thoroughly rinse cleaned surfaces with potable water before they reuse. Where recommended or permitted, apply a sanitizer solution to food contact surfaces before reuse.
For Barn Cleaning: Use a 0.25% to 0.5% solution of Acid-A-Foam EVO (1 gal. per 300 to 400 gal. of wash water) (1L/300 - 400L) for cleaning. Apply to surfaces and, if possible, let stand for 10 to 15 minutes before thoroughly rinsing all surfaces with clean water at high-pressure. After a thorough cleaning, let surfaces dry as much as possible, and then follow-up with an appropriate disinfecting solution.
