Directions For Use
To prepare a 1.0% active caustic solution, use 14 mL/L (1.4 US Gal) of AC-101 for each 100 gallons of water. For CIP of product lines, use 2.8 mL/L (36 fl oz US) of AC-101 per 100 gallons of 150-165°F (66°-74°C) water for 30-90 minutes. (Minimum of 10 minutes at temperature per spur.) For CIP of cold product storage tanks, use 2.8 mL/L (36 fl oz US) of AC-101 per 100 gallons of 135-150°F (57-66°C) water.
Large tankers: 8-10 minutes at temperature
Small tankers: 8-10 minutes at temperature
Horizontal tanks: 8-10 minutes at temperature
Silos: 15-20 minutes at temperature
To CIP of processing vats, use 7.0-10.9 mL/L (90-140 fl oz US) of AC-101 per 100 gallons of 135-150°F (57-66°C) water for 30-40 minutes.
For CIP HTST units, use a 1.5-2% active caustic solution of AC-101; use 21- 28 mL/L (2.1 - 2.8 US Gal) of AC-101 per 100 gallons of 175-190°F (79-88°C) water for 45-60 minutes.
This product may be used as a component of an egg wash solution. Thoroughly rinse shell eggs with potable water after application of this product.
Avoid food contamination during application and storage.
Rinse surfaces thoroughly with potable water after use.
Consult your Ecolab representative for specific use instructions and recommended dispensing equipment.

Causes severe skin burns and eye damage.
Wash skin thoroughly after handling. Wear protective gloves/protective clothing/eye protection/face protection.
IF SWALLOWED: rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. IF ON SKIN (or hair): Remove/Take off immediately all contaminated clothing. Rinse skin with water/shower. IF INHALED: Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing. IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. Immediately call a POISON CENTER or doctor/physician. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
