As well as its needed effects, pegademase bovine may cause unwanted side effects that require medical attention.

Major Side Effects

If any of the following side effects occur while taking pegademase bovine, check with your doctor immediately:

Incidence not known:
  • Back, leg, or stomach pains
  • bleeding gums
  • chills
  • dark urine
  • difficulty breathing
  • dizziness
  • fever
  • general body swelling
  • headache
  • loss of appetite
  • nausea or vomiting
  • nosebleeds
  • pain, warmth, or burning in the fingers, toes, and legs
  • pale skin
  • problems with vision or hearing
  • sore throat
  • unusual tiredness or weakness
  • yellowing of the eyes or skin

Minor Side Effects

Some pegademase bovine side effects may not need any medical attention. As your body gets used to the medicine these side effects may disappear. Your health care professional may be able to help you prevent or reduce these side effects, but do check with them if any of the following side effects continue, or if you are concerned about them:

  • itching
  • redness of skin
  • redness or pain at the site of injection
  • skin rash

Dermatologic

Postmarketing reports: Urticaria[Ref]

Nervous system

Frequency not reported: Headache[Ref]

Other

Frequency not reported: Injection site pain, injection site erythema
