Supplements that contain ascorbic acid, or vitamin C, may reduce the effectiveness of bortezomib in treating your cancer. Limited evidence suggest that green tea may interfere with the antitumor effects of bortezomib. Until more information is available, it may be best to avoid or limit the consumption of green tea and green tea products during treatment with bortezomib.
