Interactions between your drugs
bleomycin indium pentetreotide In-111
Applies to: Bleo 15k (bleomycin), indium pentetreotide in-111
Using bleomycin together with indium pentetreotide In-111 may cause indium pentetreotide In-111 to accumulate in the lungs leading to toxicity. This combination may also interfere with the results of tests using indium pentetreotide In-111. Drink plenty of fluids prior to receiving indium pentetreotide In-111 to help protect the lungs and other target organs (e.G., thyroid, kidneys, bladder). You should continue extra fluids and void frequently for one day after the indium pentetreotide In-111 test. You may also be instructed to take a mild laxative (e.G., bisacodyl or lactulose) before and after administration of indium pentetreotide In-111. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.
