In some situations, your doctor may want to delay treatment with talimogene laherparepvec to give your body time to recover from the effects of trifluridine therapy. It is important to tell your doctor about all other medications you use, including vitamins and herbs. Do not stop using any medications without first talking to your doctor.

Trifluridine should be taken within one hour after eating your morning or evening meals. This may help to reduce the medication's harmful effects on white blood cells. Talk to you doctor or pharmacist if you have any questions or concerns.
