Food may decrease the blood levels of brincidofovir. It is recommended that you take brincidofovir on an empty stomach, meaning no food should be eaten for at least two hours before or after taking brincidofovir. If necessary, you may take the oral tablets (but not the suspension formulation) with a low-fat meal.
