Usual Adult Dose for Intraocular Hypertension
One eye drop in the conjunctival sac of the affected eye(s) once a day in the evening
Comments:
- The dose should not exceed one drop in the affected eye(s) daily as more frequent administration may lessen the intraocular pressure lowering effect.
- This drug may be used concomitantly with other topical ophthalmic drugs to lower intraocular pressure.
- If more than one topical ophthalmic drug is being used, each one should be administered at least 5 minutes apart.
- Reduction of the intraocular pressure starts approximately 2 to 4 hours after the first administration with the maximum effect reached after 12 hours.

- Reduction of elevated intraocular pressure (IOP) in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension

Storage requirements:
- Store in refrigerator (2 to 8 C/36 to 46 F)
- After the pouch is opened, the single-use containers may be stored in the opened foil pouch for up to 28 days at room temperature (20 to 25 C/68 to 77 F).

- Discard an opened single-dose container with any remaining solution immediately after use.
Patient Advice:
- You should wipe off any excess solution from the skin to reduce the risk of darkening of the eyelid skin.
- As with any other eye drops, nasolacrimal occlusion or gently closing the eyelid after administration is recommended. This may reduce the systemic absorption of medicinal products administered via the ocular route.
- If more than one topical ophthalmic medicinal product is being used, each one should be administered at least 5 minutes apart
