Setmelanotide (applies to setmelanotide) depression
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility.
Adult and pediatric patients treated with setmelatonide may experience worsening depression and may have the emergence of suicidal thoughts and behavior. Patients should be monitored appropriately and observed closely for worsening depression, suicidality or changes in their behavior. Therapy discontinuation should be considered if patients experience suicidal thoughts or behaviors.

Setmelatonide (applies to setmelanotide) renal impairment
Moderate Potential Hazard, Moderate plausibility. Applicable conditions: Renal Dysfunction
Setmelatonide is not recommended in patients with moderate (eGFR 30-59 mL/min/1.73 m2 ) and severe renal impairment (eGFR 15-29 mL/min/1.73 m2 ) and end stage renal disease (eGFR less than 15 mL/min/1.73 m2 ).
