"Side effects come and go but are common, lasting a few hours or a couple of days, like joint and muscle pain, especially to areas that were previously injured. Otherwise, no problem handling them. Remission occurred in six months."

"I started on Brukinsa on the 5th. I marked improvement in my headaches. I was on Imbruvica since March of 21, starting at 420mg and then reduced to 280mg in hopes of reducing headaches. There was no improvement, so I was taken off it totally on November 15th. I still have issues with bad headaches, but the intensity isn't as bad."

"Taking it since November 2023 for SLL. Within a week, all bulky adenopathy melted away with transient high lymphocyte blood levels, but normal range in a few months. I have mild fatigue and low immune function, but have not been ill otherwise. Constipation managed with Metamucil and diet changes. I noticed slightly increased bleeding during oral care and just noticed petechiae on my legs today, very minor. Labs have been good, but decreasing neutrophils, basophils, eosinophils. 160 mg bid"

"Continuing to work extremely well after one year. Some fatigue, and presently having persistent nasal congestion and sneezing, but not sure if it is from the medication. All of my blood counts returned to normal after one month, and have remained normal."

"Already 4 months on Brukinsa. All enlarged lymph nodes have disappeared. Very minor side effect - upper right foot skin sensitivity. So far, it has worked very well for me."

"I was diagnosed with CLL a little over 3.5 years ago at age 70. We were on a 'wait and see' routine up until about 6 weeks ago. My oncologist said I should go on treatment and he recommended Brukinsa. Being a little 'freaked' out about having to go on treatment, I contacted MD Anderson. My wife and I flew to Houston and had an array of blood tests done. 19 vials. The Dr. was very kind and patient and explained CLL and the clinical trials they are now conducting. I asked him what he would do in my situation, he said to stay the course on Brukinsa as it is one of the newest of the BTK inhibitors. So, for right now, I'm sticking to Brukinsa. As far as side effects, I haven't noticed any."
