For Eye Redness/Itching "My first time using the eye drops was for redness. It burned, but after a few minutes, it subsided. But then it felt like there was something underneath the inside of my eyelid, and it was scratching my eyeball terribly. It was bothering me so badly I had to go lie down. That went on for 2-3 days. I didn’t realize at the time it was caused by the Visine. The second time, it did me so bad as I am experiencing this at the present time. It badly burned my eyeball. I used the drops thinking that I had a hair stuck under my eyelid. I kept feeling scraping on my eyeball. Then it turned really red, swollen, and a white, cloudy film kept forming over my eyeball. Every time I removed it, more would come. I woke up the next day, and my eye was stuck shut from drainage. My eye is so huge from swelling. Learning now that this stuff chemically burned my eyeball. Going to see a doctor today. How is this still on the market? Someone's eyes could be severely damaged from using this product."

"I was poked in the eyes. I still have perfect vision. Somehow, I didn't see what was right in front of me. Trees. I go off into the middle of nowhere. Thankfully, they didn't turn into black eyes! They are bruised on the underside. I look very tired. They ache a bit. Again, no damage thankfully. It's not like a sinus headache. My eyes, in the tear duct, feel inflamed and swollen. I wasn't sure if generics would help. My eyes are wet. I bought the brand name partly because I am lazy. My tear ducts are a little swollen, but it's the underside of my eyes that hurt and look bad. It works for me. Three drops feel like water. My salty tears burn more than this. Ten out of ten reduces the red in and around my eyes. It makes my eyes feel good? I might use it once or twice a day.
