"I was hyperalkemic, so my physician prescribed Lokelma. It was not a pleasant or successful treatment. First, trying to drink the slurry the powder produced was awful. It upset my stomach to the point that I vomited. I continued to try using Lokelma for approximately 10 days. Things didn’t get better, so I stopped taking Lokelma and told the doctor I’d never take it again, and I haven’t."

"My concierge doctor prescribed a very minor amount of Lokelma to lower a trend I was having in higher potassium levels. I took 10 mg but only 3 days a week, and my potassium levels immediately returned to normal, healthy levels. He described Lokelma as more of a system cleansing than what one might think as a laxative. As in everything in life, moderation is always the best policy. No negative tastes or side effects were experienced. Good product."

"I’ve taken Lokelma for one month, and it lowered my potassium from 5.9 to 3.8. No side effects that I’m aware of. I’ve tried severely restricting (500 mg daily) my potassium intake for years, and it didn’t help. After a month of 10 mg Lokelma, I’m a big fan! The powder is a bit hard to dissolve, but I find it has no taste at all. Kind of like chalky water. Thankful to God for a more normal life with Lokelma!"
