Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "I have had horrible watery and dry eyes. And would itch and become very irritated. I had bought this, hearing that it’s such an awesome medication. It worked maybe for the first week. But I’ve noticed that my eyes have actually become more sensitive and irritated. My eyelids have actually gotten really red, swollen, dry, and flaky, and my eyes constantly water all day. They don’t itch anymore, but it’s made everything else worse and created more symptoms. I only used it once a day in the mornings. Do not waste your time and money on buying this product. Big waste of money."

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "My eye doc recommended I switch to Pataday for my allergic, itchy eyes. These drops bring me zero relief. In fact, I am sitting here typing this review with an ice pack on my right eye, just hoping for a little bit of relief. I wish I had read reviews before trying these drops. From what I see, lots of people share my experience."

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "Seasonal allergies, very bad. I have used this product now for the second season, with some relief of itchy, red, swollen eyes. Works okay, not a miracle though for my itchy eyes. Since it can only be used twice a day, I supplement with other OTC drops that work almost as well. The price, I really don't understand how any 5ml bottle can be $300.00. What about the people who don't/can't afford health insurance? I hope my review is published, although it isn't a 10 review, I am hoping the cost will drop for those people who cannot afford this eye drop RX."

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "I'm 31 and have developed severe allergies over the past couple of years. My eyes are horrible, itchy, watery, burning at times. I finally broke down and went to an allergist. I am allergic to cats and dogs, plus dust mites. Yay! I have 2 cats. She gave me a sample of Pataday, with a prescription. I have been using them every day for 5 days, one drop in each eye in the morning. A M A Z I N G!!! My eyes are so clear, they don't itch, they don't water but a little in the morning, and then I'm good the rest of the day. I haven't rubbed them in five days, they are finally starting to heal. I have rubbed them raw with all the itching. I love these drops and can't wait to fill the prescription! My miracle eye drops. Thank you!"

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "This med is too expensive. It provides short-term relief of burning and itching. Does not completely relieve symptoms. Compared with Naphcon A generic, it is less effective. Naphcon generic is only $10. Usually only need it in the AM and lasts all day, while Pataday lasts a couple of hours."

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "Went to my eye doctor for my yearly bout of allergic conjunctivitis, happens as soon as the trees start pollinating. Got my first prescription for Pataday and was shocked at the cost, with insurance, I paid $135.00! I really wanted these drops to work! I suffer from red, burning, and itchy eyes, mild morning upper eyelid swelling. These drops never burned, they also never worked! I saw zero improvement in my eyes' appearance or feeling after 4 weeks of use, they look and feel the same. The pharmacist thought I might be allergic to Pataday and suggested I try OTC Zaditor next, much cheaper! Very disappointed!"

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "Prescribed before and after cataract surgery with good results, decreased itching, tearing, reddening, which lessened the urge to rub eyes post-surgery. Only drawback for me, must be used daily or you are back to square one. Did not interfere with post-surgery meds. It does have a cost factor."

For Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "Hate to break sad news, but excessive use causes your eyes to become lazy, produce less tears, and become more dependent on these expensive eye drops. If you have allergies, use over-the-counter loratadine, and if you sit on your butt in front of an air conditioner, be it home or car, your eyes will dry up and itch like hell, same in wintertime if you do not have a humidifier. As you get old, your eyes produce fewer tears, a mechanism not well understood even by the best of ophthalmologists. If your eyes are itching, really dry, and burning, wipe them with a clean wet towel. Have a house humidifier and, if in the car, you are out of luck, use some over-the-counter eye lubricants without any preservatives in them. Take a periodic refreshing shower and wash your eyes. You can also wash your eyes over a sink."

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "I was a little weary of trying it out because even after insurance it was $55 for the tiniest bottle ever, but I thought, hey, if it works, then it might be worth it. I've been using it daily and have not noticed a change in the redness of my eyes. It has helped at relieving my eyes from being itchy, but I still notice that my eyes are red and veiny. I would not recommend it, I'm sure you can get another eye drop that works just as mediocre for much less!"

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "This medicine doesn’t work, it is horrible! My eyes are still inflamed, itchy, and irritated. No relief! I have been taking it for 5 days. The problem has not been rectified! Back at the doctor for another solution. Medicine is also overpriced and ineffective. In other words, Pazeo is terrible!"

Olopatadine ophthalmic "I have sensitive eyes that occasionally react to something I have used on my face or something that has made contact with my eyes via my hands. My eyes sting and get itchy, and the skin around them gets scaly and dry and pulls, so it is very uncomfortable. Nothing else helps, but Pataday always returns my eyes to normal within a couple of days, sometimes the first day I use it. It is expensive but worth the relief I get from it."

Olopatadine ophthalmic "My eye doctor removed a splinter from my eye (had been left there for more than a week - long after the initial injury). She gave me a Pataday prescription, but I was able to buy it over the counter for much less. It works for the pain and itching so far, and I don't think I'll need to use it for very long. No problem here."

For Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "Olopatadine drops are by far the most effective drop I've ever used for eye allergies. I still suffer with chronic sinusitis, chronic post-nasal drip, and a related cough, but to not have to worry about my eyes is so nice. Before olopatadine, my eyes were constantly itchy, red, swollen, and goopy, and now they're completely fine, as long as I use the drops daily. On really bad days, I use in combination with Alaway drops, but I can count on one hand how many times I've had to do that. Highly recommend."

Olopatadine ophthalmic for Seasonal Allergic Conjunctivitis "Been using Patanol for years and it worked great until it seemed like my eyes were getting worse. I thought I had extremely dry eye and tried an eye lubricant. After using it for a little more than a day, my eyes were bad. Itchy, burned, constantly watering, blurred vision, headaches, and I realized that the Patanol recently had been doing the same things. I haven't used any eye drops for about 24 hours and although I still have symptoms, I'm just carefully wiping my eyes, and cold compresses help and trying to avoid anything that strains my eyes. Like typing this. I'm really happy with the Patanol, no problems at all until recently, seeing all the symptoms of pink eye. Patanol is the best thing to treat. I just don't want to get worse again."
