For Postherpetic Neuralgia "I am a veteran and the VA recently contracted with Mylan for patches. THEY ARE HORRIBLE! I have to tape them on. They will not stay on without tape. What a way to scam our VETS. VA pharmacy told me that everyone at the hospital hates them. If you have to buy your own, DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!"

For Pain "I recently was prescribed lidoderm patches. I was impressed with the relief I got from sore muscles & joints. Later that night I noticed my shoulder was extremely tender to touch & when I looked at it, it was severely bruised and the skin was blistering & peeling, like frostbite. So watch heat and cold while using this patch!"

For Pain "I live with cervical dystonia (torticolis) along with chronic back pain from lumbar fusions from 30 years ago. My discs have degenerated to a severe degree. I am loaded with arthritis all through my body, the worst area being my spine. The dystonia causes continuous head spasms and that causes ripping pain throughout my body. Along with a cocktail of numerous medicines, the Lidoderm patch has been a life saver. I can place it in a specified location and though it may not make all the pain go away, it definitely numbs the top surface levels giving great relief."

For Pain "I have several pain related medical issues including fibromyalgia, arthiritis in various joints and spine, and Ankylosing Spondylitis. I experience severe lower back pain when laying down or with physical activity that involves standing for even short periods of time or bending over. etc. I am treated with two types of opiods for pain. However, despite using these strong medications my back, hip, and pelvic pain exceeds the threshold of my opiod treatment schedule. As a result, I generally use the Lidoderm patches on my back/pelvic and hips. All I can say is they are fabulous . I've used these for several years now. I can put on the patch(es) for 12 hours of any 24 period. I can use between 1-3 patches as needed."

For Pain "Had a spinal fusion back in 2000 and over the years on and off I have used the Watson Lidocaine 5% patches. Last year my insurance sent me Mylan. What a waste of time and money. Who thought of manufacturing plastic patches for the skin. They not only pinch the skin but also don't stick, at all! I can't imagine if I was walking in the summer and had one on. Shame on you Mylan, a call to customer service was to no avail. The cost of the Watson Brand (which I loved) is so expensive now. I won't be ordering them anymore. The point is Mylan's co-pay was affordable but didn't stick and Watson co-pay is too much."

For Pain "I've been using the Lidoderm patches off and on for several years, but increasingly more over the past couple months. I have chronic neck pain, the result of a car accident, and a herniated disc in my neck (C5/6). I'm sick of taking narcotics and I've tried every form of physical therapy in the book, and while I feel the Lidoderm patches work, they won't stick on long enough for me to really get the maximum results, which is really frustrating. My rating would be much higher if the patches were more adhesive."

For Pain "I've suffered from neck pain for many years from spondylosis and degenerative discs. I see a pain management doctor who prescribes many forms of treatment, one of which is lidocaine patches. I have used Watson brand for a long time and they work quite well and often allow me to avoid pain meds. Brings the pain down to a tolerable level. CVS pharmacy no longer carries Watson so I was given the Mylan brand. The Mylan patches are terrible. They DO NOT stay on the skin. I am now using Actavis and they stay on the skin and are as effective as Watson, which is hear has been discontinued."

For Pain "I use these patches on my neck due to nerve and muscle issues. They don't work as an anti-inflammatory. However, they do help with the main caused by my inflamed muscles. I sometimes get tingling in my face and hands and arms that get pretty severe, and these patches relieve most of the pain and/or numbness within 15 minutes. They do, unfortunately, seem to never want to stay on for more than an hour."

For Pain "Lidoderm patch. Rated 6 and 1/2. Used for 12 hours then off for 12. This was a fairly good addition to my pain treatment for spinal arthritis. I take NSAIDS, Tramadol and add this towards the end of the day when I feel my spine on fire. It makes a difference but not sure a big enough difference to justify the cost. Cons- must wear a non-waterproof patch for 12 hours. Patch is no good if you sweat even moderately as it 'unsticks'. It is not re-appliable, can't take it off to readjust or for a shower so you have to get it right and time it right. Pro- It does help in a manner that pain medicines and NSAIDS don't."

For Pain "The Mylan Lidocaine 5% Patches are horrible... not only do they not help with the pain, but they are very stiff once you put it on and when you try to take it off it rips the hair out of your back! It horrible will never use another one again!!!"

For Pain "I tried using the over the counter 4% lidocaine and had some relief. I talked to a pharmacist who said that the Mylan should give about 25% more relief. I tried it-purchased 30-5% pads that cost about $.30 more than the over the counter per patch. The Mylan are inflexible and I have to tape them on. I will not buy more. I may talk to my doctor about just using the over the counter and adding a little more lidocaine cream. My recommendation is that customers should not waste their money on these. I also read that the Mylan company is registered in the Netherlands with its main office in the U.S. So, this is a company that can well afford to create an effective product since they obviously do not pay much in U.S. taxes-SHAME"

For Pain "Tried patches for back pain due to degenerative disc disease. The patches had no effect whatsoever. I currently just take 800mg of ibuprofen every 8-12 hours to get the best relief. I refuse to take opioids and tramadol is a joke."

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "What an absolute waste of money. They are made of cheap plastic. Uncomfortable. Do not adhere. Mylan should be ashamed of themselves. I've used name brand which were white cloth patch and effective. These are a joke! No relief. I don't believe they have any medication on them. Shame on the company!"

For Pain "The new lidoderm patches from Mylan are not effective because they do not stay on, and they do not let my skin underneath breathe.and they want to stick to themselves which make them ineffective. I will not use them ever again. The Qualitest lidoderm patches work wonderfully. The Mylan do not work in all fields. It needs alot of work."

For Pain "The Mylan lidocaine patches are a waste of money! They don't stay on your skin for more 2-3 hours. The problems with patches is the patch is not breathable and the adhesive does not move with your body."

For Pain "I've used other forms of this patch which works like a miracle pain remedy and would find pain relief instead of taking opioids which weren't working anyway. However, to my misfortune they do not make any other patch that I'm aware of anymore aside for these Mylan Lidoderm patches and THESE DO NOT STICK TO THE SKIN! I've tried everything to make the patches stick from putting tape (which I'm shouldn't have to do), to rubbing it on. These patches need to be re-made to stick!! PLEASE...PLEASE...the OTHER ONES .. HELPED WITH MY PAIN from a 10 to a 3 with the one's that stick!! For me that's great, I'm happy!!"

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "I had shingles from my right index finger and thumb to the top of my head. I thought my arm would explode at times. Areas of skin on my arm and shoulder had terrible sensations. Lidoderm patches were a great help. I was taking 800 mg NSAIDS with no effect. Went to a pain management specialist who gave me 15 mg oxycodone every 4 hours, Lyrica, and these patches. Max 3 patches - 12 hours per day. The worst was over after two weeks. But the pain continues in my right hand - now 9 months. The Oxycodone at bedtime with a patch over the affected parts of my hand will let me sleep 6 hours most nights. The patch doesn't do it all, but it is a good assist. And it is not an NSAID."

For Pain "I have 5 Bulging Discs in 3 different areas, Degenerate Disc through out the spine, & Arthritis through out the spine. I also have Fibromyalgia. I also have shattered bones in my left hand & left foot. The Lidoderm Patch works well for the areas that are quite excruciating even after taking my regular medications. I also find I do not have to take quite as many pain medications when using the Lidoderm Patches. Thank U ever so kindly Kamneo"

For Pain "I started using these about 10 years ago for pain in my foot from a torn tendon. Now I am using for severe low back pain. This really works. It sticks fine as long as you smooth it on. You can tape it on as well. Also these patches can be cut to use in various places and to save money. I highly recommend"

"My Mom was prescribed 5% Lidocaine patches for off-label treatment of her arthritis. The patch that was applied at the hospital seemed to be good quality (not sure what manufacturer they used). Got Mom home, filled the patch prescription at CVS, bought a box of 30 Mylan patches. Retail almost $300, payment refused by Medicare, bought by me using GoodRX coupon for $70. Unfortunately these patches are Totally TRASH! Will NOT stick properly. Mylan Pharmaceuticals, Inc. should be ashamed. VERY unhappy."

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "As everybody have said before these patches are pure junk. I don't think there is medicine on the patch. I went back to the pharmacy where I purchased them and they said yes we are aware that people said they didn't seem to help. I asked why did they sell them to me knowing that they are inferior. I got no answer. I called the company Mylan. They are issuing me a refund of my purchase price. I told them I am calling the FDA. They said not to bother by law they have to report it themselves. I am still going to call."

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "Ridiculous. ...Mylan should be embarrassed to say the least. You might as well be putting scotch tape on your body instead. That's how useless and uncomfortable the product is!!! Change your product MYLAN. Maybe Endo Pharmaceutical could give you some pointers!"

"I used Lidoderm patches for years with wonderful results. Then generics came out. The Activas brand is close to the name brand but I end up with my fingers sticky because there is adhesive you can’t avoid when you peel off the plastic. Now I have CVS Caremark for my prescription coverage and was sent a 90 day supply of Mylan patches. These are AWFUL! The previously mentioned patches have a cloth feel on the outside. Not Mylan! Mylan patches have a plastic backing. I can get the patch to stick to my skin, but within 30 minutes, my sweating behind the patch because the plastic backing doesn’t allow the patch to breathe. Once I start sweating, the patch doesn’t adhere, so it is no longer delivering medication! If I wait a few minutes, the Mylan patch just slides off. Do not bother with the Mylar brand patch. It is worthless! I highly recommend the name brand Lidoderm patch."

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "Your patches will not stay on long enough to supply pain relief. When I apply one to my lower back it folds onto itself within 3 hours no matter what I do. They need to be like the Qualitest patches that I have used for years"

For Postherpetic Neuralgia "This is a good medication to relieve a minor amount of the pain it definitely needs to be stronger so that it works better. Also the Mylan brand is a disgrace why would pay for this at all. They don’t stick the minute you take them out and remove backing stick to skin anywhere on your body like feet legs hands arms sides back they don’t stick you need to change the way you make these Mylan. I will now on refuse every order with Mylan patches. No way in heck so people have to pay for extra tape to hold these on. You should be ashamed of yourselves for selling these to people who can’t afford prescriptions as it is and then you pay the money can’t get it back and your still sitting waiting to ease the pain and still waiting for an income. Wrong. All I can say is Karma for your company!!! Get some better adhesive or stop making these Mylan!!!"
