"Each of the four shots I’ve received left a 1/2 dollar-sized disk that won’t go away - it’s been a year and a half since my first two shots. I initially thought that they injected IM instead of subQ. Now I’m not sure that was the problem. I have a master's in nursing and wish they would just let me do the shots myself. Then I wouldn’t blame poor injection technique. The lumps itch and are quite painful, stinging sharply if palpated or rubbed. Since I’m on salvage therapy, poz since 1983, I have no other option than continuing to be increasingly disfigured with a growing family of lumps that can be seen and palpated. Not as bad as having to take Fuzeon (I did that for 3 years), but I wish they would inject with lidocaine to prevent granulomas as they do with face injections like Sculptra. I’m not sure this would help since it’s a depo shot that lasts for 6 months, but it would improve the experience of having to take these painful injections/resulting granulomas."

"I became resistant to Cabenuva. Switched to Sunlenca injection every 6 months with daily Bictarvy. Made my number AMAZING with NO side effects. Only downside is it burns intensely when injected, only for about a min. It leaves a small bump at the injection site. I feel great, and I am healthy. Would strongly recommend. I hope this helps someone."
