"I had written back in September 2017 about my experience with different chemo and immunotherapy drugs for my non-small cell lung cancer. After not having had positive results, the doctor recommended nine cycles of gemcitabine. I completed the nine chemos in October; in November, I had a lung scan, which showed the cancer was detained and that there was a discrete decrease. I am relieved and happy. My cancer is Stage IV."

Gemcitabine "I have had the base of the skull pain, not too bad. Advil worked, 2-3 days gone."

Gemcitabine "This is so much better than what I had before. The worst side effect is pain around the base of my head and down the side of my neck like a crick the second through the third day after treatment. So bad, I usually have to take a pain pill. I have not seen this on any reviews, so I was wondering if anyone else had this experience."
