Gemzar (gemcitabine) "This is so much better than what I had before. The worst side effect is pain around the base of my head and down the side of my neck like a crick the second through the third day after treatment. So bad, I usually have to take a pain pill. I have not seen this on any reviews, so I was wondering if anyone else had this experience."

"I had written back in September 2017 about my experience with different chemo and immunotherapy drugs for my non small cell lung cancer. After not having had positive results the doctor recommended nine cycles of gemcitabine. I completed the nine chemos in October; in November I had a lung scan which showed the ca was detained and that there was a discrete decrease. I am relieved and happy. My cancer is Stage IV."
