Vyalev for Parkinson's Disease User Reviews

"After several years of using levodopa/carbidopa, it became ineffective. I have been using the Vyalev infusion pump since February 2025. I am quite happy with the treatment and will generally recommend it. However, there are some specifics that should be mentioned: 1. Using the pump requires discipline and patience. 2. Anti-septic conditions of the pump and attachments have to be maintained to avoid infections at injection sites. 3. Some parts are rather small and may present a challenge to assemble for people with tremors. 4. Users may need to involve a partner as the procedure of changing syringes is rather cumbersome for one person. 5. It takes time to come up with the protocol of applicable dosage, even when the doctor is routinely involved. 6. Most users prefer to use the stomach area for injections because of the convenience of access. However, injections leave nodules in the skin that take about 2-3 weeks to disappear. As a result, smaller people may run out of available sites."
