"I used ephedrine for 15 years, but not correctly. I was addicted to it and could not stop. I was up to 36 pills a day. In October of 2007, I ended up in the hospital with an enlarged heart and fluid in my chest cavity that was seeping out of my heart. The pills had caused this to happen to my heart. It made my blood pressure skyrocket. I had to have an echo, heart catheterization, stress tests, and now I am on heart medicine and blood pressure medicine. I have no idea how it works if you use it correctly, but I am so glad I am finally off it for good."

"As of 2021 you can now buy single ingredient Ephedrine tablets. There is not a lot of weight loss medications available and many of them are too expensive or insurance companies may not cover them. Ephedrine is very effective for weight loss when combined with a diet"

For COPD, Acute "I have used Broncaid Tablets for many years, I have COPD and Asthma. In addition to my other prescribed medications for the COPD and Asthma Broncaid is the only medication that is able to give me a longer lasting relief. I advise people with breathing conditions to at least give it a try it just might give you additional comfort."

"Fine! I'll edit it again. (Remove my fine! Edit.) Ephedrine is my preferred decongestant/stimulant. Caffeine makes me jittery for 12+ hours. From a cola! 34mg Caffeine! 8-25mg of Ephedrine. ~10-15mg for nasal congestion. (It works well, maybe better than Pseudo? Considering the dose 2X as potent? [30mg Pseudo vs 15mg reg. Eph.] Oh no, Am I too medical?) I use 25mg of Ephedrine to stay awake very-very rarely, instead of caffeine. I never drink coffee or cola casually. It seems to clear my sinuses well. A bit of rebound congestion. (Same as Pseudo) It keeps me awake, feels more like adrenaline, clears my sinuses. Does not keep me awake, jittering and all that. But it does keep me awake and clear my sinuses. Unless I am really tired, after days without sleep."

For Narcolepsy "25mg 2x a day. Once upon waking and once in the afternoon seems to get me going with addition to a cup of coffee. The pros are it works similarly to the typical narcoleptic drug. "
