"My skin absolutely did not agree with this product. I am disappointed and mad at it. I got a really bad rash and burning and itching and anything you would hate having on my face from this product. I’ve had small red bumps all over my face. It dried my skin to the max, it ruined everything. I am in pain. It’s been three days, and it still hurts when I shower and wash my face. 0/10 would not recommend."

"I saw a dermatologist twice this spring for swelling and hives that I thought might be due to sun sensitivity. I changed up my routine to avoid the sun completely and stopped using anything at all on my face. All was well until I tried adding CeraVe back in three days ago. I used the Hydrating Facial Cleanser on my face in the shower, rinsed well, and then applied the Daytime Facial Moisturizer. That was in the morning, and by bedtime, my face was ablaze with the same itchy hives and burning that I had misattributed to the sun before. I washed my face with water, applied cortisone cream, and took two Benadryl. Even still, when I awoke the following morning, my eyes were nearly swollen shut and my cheeks were thick with edema. I repeated the shower-cortisone-Benadryl, and it's getting better, but it will take several more days for all of the swelling and redness to abate. I wouldn't give this stuff to my worst enemy, so these bottles are going into the box for household hazardous waste."

"I ran out of my Carmex, and I was at the store. I picked up Blistex strawberry lemonade ChapStick on Tuesday. I used it, and I woke up in the middle of the night with tingly burning of my lips. When I looked in the mirror, my lips were so red and swollen! It's been 4 days, and they're still burning, tingling, and swollen! Don't buy it! And if you have it, throw it away!"

"My eye is swollen with little red bumps. I used Cetaphil Cleanser on my face and eyes, it is good stuff to use, but my eyes started burning. My face was okay the next day, but my eyes are really bad, which isn't cool. It feels like somebody has punched me in the eye."

"I have heard amazing things about this product, but my face, however, did not like it. This product broke me out in hives and scared my face. I have splotches of red marks and dry skin. My face looks like a cat scratched it all up. When I touch the area, it burns. Most of the burn-like scratches are under my eyes, cheeks, and nose."

"I used the moisturizing cream on my face because of my very dry skin. After using for 3 days, I developed a reaction with red bumps and itching. Use of the cream on my legs and arms did not cause a reaction. It is too strong for the face."

"I used Eucerin Christmas Eve for the first time and again on Christmas Day for dry skin on my hands. Both hands turned red, swelled up terribly, became hot to the touch, and itched badly, and I got weird bumps on the back of my hands around my wrists and up toward my forearms. I threw the bottle away. I am still experiencing the symptoms, but they are becoming milder on the 3rd day."

"I've been hearing about CeraVe for a long time and decided to switch my face moisturizer. After 2 weeks, my face started to sting. I figured I would give it some time because I was introducing something new to my body, but it continued for over a month until I finally had to stop. The stinging continued for 2 weeks after I discontinued use. I had to switch back to my old moisturizer. I was really hoping CeraVe would work, but I guess one of the ingredients was too strong."

"This was my first time using this product. It was given to me as a complimentary soap at the Hampton Inn I recently stayed at. I, like many others, have broken out in a rash (contact dermatitis), I also ended up with allergic conjunctivitis in my eyes (basically the same thing as pink eye, but it is caused by an allergic reaction)."

"Since this product has so many bad reviews, I felt the need to share my positive experience. I've tried many good, dermatologist-recommended products, such as Crave, Cetaphil, Rich Pose, etc. Aveeno unscented is the only lotion or cream that doesn't end up irritating my skin."

"I started taking CeraVe, and I developed full face itching, burning, and peeling in spots. The skin around my eyes became red and swollen as well. I don't have sensitive skin and was surprised at this reaction. I stopped using the medication and applied pure aloe vera gel daily and cortisone cream for itching. It’s been a few days now, and the redness is nearly gone, but my skin is still peeling in spots."

"I applied raspberry lemonade Blistex, and my lips started burning, and within a few hours, I developed blisters under my lip and my lips were swollen. I must be allergic to an ingredient in this type of Blistex because the plain liquid type has never caused a reaction."

"I had severe swelling of the nasal passages, skin at the edge of the nostril cracking and eventually bleeding, and severe sinus issues. It took me almost 8 months to determine what was causing my severe nasal issues, and I eventually discovered it was caused by Cetaphil Cleanser. Within 4 days of non-use, all of my condition began to clear up. I will never use it again."

"I have had outbreaks on the palms and between fingers over the past five years. It was painful, and my skin would get quite raw at times. I tried over-the-counter creams and a cortisone cream prescribed by a dermatologist, but nothing seemed to help. I started using the EpiCeram cream prescribed by the same dermatologist, and it took several days before I began to see results, but I can say that my hands are in better shape than they have been in years now. I am still cautious, using gloves when cleaning or washing dishes, but I think that, although it has been a very slow, gradual process, there has been a significant improvement."

The next day, my lips were still chapped, so I found my EOS and used that. "So I ran out of my normal chapstick, and so I grabbed this one because I figured it's medicated, so it must be good, and after using it for a few days, my lips got SUPER swollen and red and itchy and burning and very, very painful. "I used this on my hands tonight for the first time ever. Within five minutes, I had intense itching, redness, swelling, and bumps. I had to wash my hands twice and rinse them under cold water. "I have been suffering pain/irritation/distraction where my eyeglasses touch my face for over a decade. Since I also have very severe dry eye syndrome, my treatments have always focused on my eyes. Out of desperation, I tried to treat my skin conditions instead since last year and tried different skin creams, including those with steroids. Then came to EpiCeram in May 2017. I have been using EpiCeram since May, and my conditions have been improving every day, even though very slowly, understandably considering how bad and long my conditions are. I test my improvements by putting my eyeglasses on and feeling the level of pain and irritation under the nose pads, and finally, yesterday, I began to wear glasses again... Amazing stuff."

"I have been using this product for 15 years. I always loved how it stopped my rosacea problem. Now, since the product has changed, within 3 days of use, my skin has become sensitive to something in the new cream. It’s like it burnt my skin. No way I can continue to use this product. So sad."
