Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA) "I have tense masseter muscles and had a Daxxify injection to relax them. Within two days of having treatment, I experienced a sore throat followed by a cough, extreme fatigue as I’ve never felt before, joint and muscle pain with the most bizarre nightmares, and sweating. Then my face swelled and it looked like I was pregnant. I thought at first I had caught the flu, but this has been coming and going for months now. My gut feeling is this stuff is draining into my lymphatic system and making me sick. It comes and goes but it has been consistent for 3 months now. I’m at month three and I’ve had four days this month of symptoms, two days at the beginning of the month and two days now at the end. The muscle is protruding again so I’m hopeful this medication is working its way out. I’ve been getting Botox for years and never had a single reaction. I think it is worth noting this medication migrates very easily and can cause serious side effects. I don’t recommend it at all. It’s caused me to have monthly health setbacks."

Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA) for Glabellar Lines "On November 6, I injected Daxxify into my forehead, around my eyes, and around my chin. I have had Botox in the past with no issues. About a week later, I noticed my right eyelid was swollen and very itchy. I called the doctor and was prescribed cream and drops. It eventually healed. A week later, I got sick. Just thought it was a cold. I had that for about 2 weeks. About less than 3 weeks later, I lost my voice, was so congested, and coughing. I was prescribed steroids, an inhaler, and a decongestant. I have been reading the side effects of Daxxify, and now I am scared. I am still having trouble breathing. I have two more days of steroids left. I hope this is going to go away!! I should not have tried anything new. My face looks great, and it did kick in right away, so it may be great for some people. I do have allergies, so maybe my body is not tolerating this very well. I think the product works great, but I am scared of the side effects. I have never been this sick for so long!"

Daxxify (daxibotulinumtoxinA) for Glabellar Lines "I’d had Botox before and I did some research and found that Daxxify was supposed to last longer, but takes a little longer to kick in completely. A few days after I got it, I noticed my eyes appeared to be different, one was more open than the other. I tried allergy eye drops, regular eye drops, keeping ice on it, etc. nothing helped. Other than my current droopy eye, I think it’s great! Forehead lines are not there and that’s the goal! I just hope this eye isn’t like this for 9 months!"
