"PSA 10, biopsy showed almost all samples positive. Surgery in 2008. First PSA after surgery still 10! Next, radiation plus started Lupron. Hated Lupron every 3 months. Then did an alternate schedule - waited until PSA got back up then Lupron. This worked pretty well, and I felt great when the Lupron wore off. Eventually, this stopped working, so added Xtandi and back to every 3 months injections. This sapped all my energy and felt like a glob of primeval ooze. Then eventually stopped Xtandi and felt better immediately. Now, present day I have cancer showing up on my spine even though PSA around 1. Slowly increasing like next test might be 1.26. Hmmmm....? So now on Nubeqa too, starting at half dosage and again all my energy sapped. Feel like I'm hanging on by a thread, primeval ooze too."

"I have been taking Nubeqa for 3 years now. Started taking as a result of my prior treatment with just Lupron Depot injections becoming much less effective. Nubeqa along with Lupron Depot lowered my PSA from an increasing 2.675 to 0.240 in 2 months time and lowered it again to 0.086 after another 2 months time. The same treatment of Nubeqa along with a Lupron Depot injection has kept my PSA below 0.01 for 3 years now. No noticeable side effects or interactions with my BP meds. It is very expensive but I applied for co-pay assistance which along with my Medicare coverage has lowered my copay to 0."
