Can Zoloft help you focus if you have ADD? Check this out: when you have depression you usually have little to no motivation for things. It seems that (whether directly or indirectly) Zoloft increases your motivation, along with other things that we need not be concerned about. So could it then help you focus since it will increase your motivation? It is thought that focus and motivation are very close concepts.

Hello mnano-passion. I confirm the above answer. Zoloft is perscribed for ADD/ADHD (off-label) Best of wishes to you, pledge
Thanks.
You are welcome. Have a great day.
Yes, it is sometimes used for ADD/ADHD. My son was tried on Zoloft for ADHD but unfortunately he had a very bad reaction to it and we had to discontinue it but it can sometimes help improve focus, motivation and concentration. I think this is more of an "off label" use however.
Oh okay good. I was diagnosed with ADHD and I am being put on Vyvanse and if I recall correctly Zoloft as well. I was asking this question because I've read many times that Vyvanse doesn't last for the whole day so it seems that Zoloft can continue to aid in my focus for the rest of the day after Vyvanse has worn off, as well as keep my nagging social anxiety at bay.
Big mistake, the medicine being administered along with Vyvanse is Intuniv. Sorry!
