I am also more anxious, nauseated, don't feel solid. If I could get something to put into my veins to stop the panic I would. I started talking the zoloft for digestive problems, I was unable to eat (all medical issues rulled out). That is the only thing the zoloft has helped I can eat without getting bloated, ect. I can't stand the PANIC

A great self help book is "Power Over Panic" by Bronwyn Fox. She is an Australian author (and former sufferer of Panic Disorder). It was published in Australia by Penguin / Viking. You might be able to track it down... if not she does have a website... just google her name.
zoloft can increase anxiety bringing back the panic. by the way panic attacks subside after 15-20 min, but theres residual anxiety... uh but yeah i would say try a different med
I stopped taking the zoloft. Never have luck with meds, I have been fighting on and off with anxiety, panic for 30yrs. I also have a pill anxiety. Have a counselor apt 2wks, and self help books work the best for me. Sometime you just need that kick in the butt to realize once again its the anxiety creeping in. thanks for you comment. If you could suggest any good self help books i have room in my life for more. Like the ones with the work books
I also had alot of panic and anxiety on several of the SSRI anti depressants. Did they start you on the lower dose ( 1/2 of the full dose with plans to move up to a higher dose) or start you out on a higher dose. Please let your doc know tomorrow that you are having worse symptoms. I was able to take amitriptyline ( generic of Elavil) and that is what is known as a tri cyclic antidepressant. They actually gave it to me to treat fibromyalgia but one of the first things I notice is that it lifted my mood and stopped alot of my migraines. I took 25 milligrams of it at night and it helped me. I am glad you have your xanax and take it if you need it until you can get in touch with your doctor. Best Of Luck.
