Wondering if those of you who have started Praluent did so because you experienced muscle pain on statins. If so, have you had any muscle pain that may be associated with Praluent?

medq; There is not a lot of side effects listed because this one being one of the newer Cholesterol medications but this one is listed.((( muscle spasm with pain))) Which does not surprise me almost all the others due. but it was not that high it says 1 to 10% in the studies had this but not bad enough to have to stop. So you might just give your doctor a call, Maybe like with Ranger an adjustment in dose and diet you may get better results. Hope you get to feeling better.

I am experiencing severe leg pain inside of knee area when trying to sleep, been on Praluent for over 1 year! I didn't think of it being due to this until just recently, now wondering it this is my problem!

I had problems with all of the statins. Pain, weakness and spasms/cramping. I am on a small dose now, no problems. I get my first shipment of praluent tomorrow. Excited to start.

Update... just took my fourth dose. No side affects so far. Going for blood work in three days. I will keep you updated.
