There shouldn't be any problem with you taking drinking alcohol while taking Nexium. However, in some people, alcohol can cause acid reflux to be worse. So while there isn't a drug interaction between Nexium and alcohol, it may cause you to have more symptoms. Hope this helps? As suggested you could always seek medical help for either your doc or pharmacist.

It is used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), ulcers, certain bacteria in the stomach, and inflammation of the esophagus. It can also be used to prevent ulcers in patients taking medicines called NSAIDs.
This list may not describe all possible interactions. Give your health care provider a list of all the medicines, herbs, non-prescription drugs, or dietary supplements you use. Also tell them if you smoke, DRINK ALCOHOL, or use illegal drugs. Some items may interact with your medicine.
