My job as an event planner often requires primarily wine tastings with the food menu that is presented to the client. What is the risk while taking the tablet and having wine/alcohol 6 to 8 a week? The medications has a strong impact on the liver, but all I had read so far those not mention avoiding wine/alcohol...
Can I drink wine/alcohol while taking Terbinafine HCL 250 mg one a day? Is wine safer than alcohol?

In response to the other answers to this question, which state that the alcohol does not interact with the drug, that's not the problem. The concern is that Lamisil stresses the liver, which must also process alcohol. My nurse practitioner, who prescribed the medication, told me that it was wise to avoid alcohol while on it.
Hi alcohol shouldn't interact with your medication, however i just thought i'd add that government guideline (ceiling) drinking amounts for women are 2-3 units of alcohol (any) per day, and 3-4 units for men. It is also advised to have a couple of alcohol free days per week if possible...
