I feel the same, im still having upper abdominal cramping and burning as well as heartburn. And what causes your stomach to make noises? Could it be the medication or something else?

Dear lolly,
In any medication for the gerd and hyperacidity, you should always look for the span of time it becomes effective. Usually, antacids like Maalox should work in about 6 hours. On the other hand, proton pump inhibitors can work in about 3 to 7 days.
You should see a difference in a day or two after you start using Nexium. Are you eating properly? Good meals (low in fat, not too spicy, etc.), which don't aggravate your GERD symptoms.
If you are eating sensibly and still experiencing these symptoms after taking Nexium, then please see your doctor.
The noises from your stomach shouldn't be due to the medicine.
I have been eating healthy but not enough because i still have the occasional temptation. But i have started on a acid reflux diet and will give that a week. If it doesn't work i will go back and see my doc. Its so bloody frustrating because my stomach is annoying me all the time so i dont know whats bothering me.
I think you need to eat a bit more (be it healthy). It sounds like you aren't eating enough. Have healthy snacks frequently. Try not to let your stomach starve. This may help.
