There is nothing similar to Amitiza available over the counter. The medicines for constipation over the counter are Dulcolax, ducosate (many different brands available), Senokot and a few more.

Amitiza contains lubiprostone, a chloride channel activator. It increases fluid secretion in your intestines which increases intestinal muscle movement and helps make it easier to pass stools (bowel movements).
Amitiza is used to treat chronic constipation in adults.
