Hi Fergi. I also have a script but am afraid for the same reasons. I love salad dressing and pickles which have vinegar and I regularly use scented lotion from Bath and Body works. What's worse I am a nurse so alcohol-based sanitizers and alcohol wipes are part of my daily routine. Anyone have any feedback?
i used the alcohol sanitiser when in hospital when one of my football team mates got injured and it had no ill effects. i'm on 1 x 500mg of dilsulfarim a day
Hello fergie. To add to what Maso said, I took antabuse for years. Deoderants are not an issue. Foods, such as cakes (rumbaba) , chocolates (liqueur filled)as well as cough syrups need to be monitered for alcohol volume and content. Regards, pledge
Thank you maso,
I couldn't find anything to do with foods that contain alcohol (if this will affect me while taking antabuse). Do you know of any ?
This is what I could find in the meantime, I suggest you give your Dr. a call and ask for a more complete list.
All the best,
