Ive been taking 300mg of Lyrica at once. Is that to much at once?

I take it for my severe diabetic neuropathy in my feet and legs.

Depending on how I sit or bend I get this icy cold feeling at the nape of my neck, its really bad, at the same time my legs go numb and cold. I have peripheral neuropathy but they have not told me what type I have. Can you help?
