Best regards, masso
It wont make it worse and is regularly prescribed to help with pain, it will only make the pain manageable, its not a fix. I highly recommend it for pain I am 26 and am considered health with the exception of back pain. I take 40mg every night for severe back pain which was making me suicidal, since I have been on amitriptyline I can live a normal live again with minimal pain. Keep in mind that the medication will take 4 weeks before any benefit is felt and in the first 4 weeks it will make you tired. Take it 2 hours before bed time.
Also check with doctors to see if you have other medications which could react. This drug is also an anti depressant and does react with some meds. Good luck, defiantly a life changer for me.
