... I was extremely healthy before and during my pregnancy and had one shot of RhoGAM during pregnancy and one shot of RhoGAM after delivery. My child is now 8.5 months and it seems as though my immune system is completely shot. I seem to catch everything and anything I'm close to despite all the hand washing and vitamin taking and it seems to take a whole lot longer for me to get over an illness than before I was pregnant. I was 31 when I had my baby, should my immune system be this bad eight months after labor? Is RhoGAM the cause?
No, Rho Gam shouldnt weaken your immune system but the stress of caring for a baby can. When you have a child under a year old, you dont get enough sleep, any sleep you do get is often interrupted. Many women with small babies and children dont eat properly because they are too busy trying to keep up with their children. It is just plain stressful to have a little one. Stress will affect your immune system quicker than anything. Taking vitamins can help but vitamins are no match for a good healthy diet. Rest when you need to. Instead of doing massive house cleaning when the baby is down, take a small nap yourself. Your body is just telling you that you are doing too much. See your Dr just to be sure there is no underlying illness like anemia or hypothyroid etc.
I have a suspicion and would like to know more about the effects of Rhogham on the immune system. my pregnancy was a healthy experience with no constipation, and no vitamin deficiencies. after pregnancy My health and immune system took a turn for the worst. My thyroid was testing high then low and I was constantly I'll. After 1 year and dozens of tests and trips to doctors and specialists I discovered I had developed an allergy to garlic and onions. Could this have something to do with Rhogham ?
If you think it was rhogam, it probably was. I haven't found a single long term study because no one is interested in them. I also have suffered from severe thyroid disfunction ranging from hyper to hypo since having my 5th shot of rhogam. Within a week of my third shot I began having severe allergic reactions to nothing in particular. It's gotten progressively worse as I'm now up to 5 shots with my next shot scheduled in less than 3 weeks. I finally connected the dots and have noticed a trend in quantity and severness in the reactions, the last one sending me to the er. Allergic reactions are immune disfunctions. Hypothyroidism is 90% of the time linked to the auto immune disease hashimotos. Do I think there's a connection? Yes! But I have no idea if not getting the shot at 28 weeks is necessary, nor the last shot after I give birth considering this will be my last child. If I am correct and my reactions become worse, I may end up dead and then what use of a mother am I. Will post more if I find out any more info.
I have researched this at length. I believe there to be a connection between when an Rh negative mom gives birth to Rh positive baby--- that's when we tend to see the most health issues following that pregnancy. In both the mom AND the baby. It's almost like when the blood crosses, that it can throw your body into an autoimmune fit.
Food allergies, asthma, joint issues, stomach problems, to name a few. I have found something that has helped a lot of people I'm connected with. It's an antifungal probiotic and it's powerful. If anyone has any questions, you can message me!
Rhogam is quite toxic as they have not removed all the mercury from it even though they claim it has been removed. (This has been confirmed in testing by Health Advocacy in the Public’s Interest (HAPI) ) They also added aluminum which dramatically increases the toxicity of mercury. Do some more research. Rhogam is very toxic. I have had severe health issues ever since getting a shot several years ago. That prompted me to do a lot of research. Rhogam can actually cause the illness it’s designed to prevent. They lead you to believe it’s absolutuly necessary for your babies survival but that is a lie. Best wishes.
I believe this rhogam shot had a drastic affect on my health. Autoimmune issues started after receiving Rhogam shots. My daughter also had a severe autoimmune reaction and almost died in 2013. Her immune system went haywire and there were no explanations as to why. She had to be at a children’s hospital for nearly 6 months and on chemo to suppress her immune system for over two years. She is still not cured. Why haven’t there been any long term studies on this toxic shot that I was told was absolutely mandatory 22 years ago when I was pregnant?? I really think if men were affected, there would be long term studies on this.
I am interested in the immune effects on offspring. Young Daughter developed GBS which is autoimmune. Females are more prone to these and must guard health. Cannot ever have a flu shot. Also has hyperhidrosis which is an apparent side effect. Wonder if the risks outweighed any benefits and if there have been legal challenges.
I was born with RhFactor and had 2 transfusions at birth, severe jaundice. I have researched effects long term of those born Rh+. I had surgery for scoliosis age 11. was diagnosed with narcolepsy age 15 (which comes with a ton of issues). Problems with arthritis in knees. Back problems escalated over years, degeneration, etc. and had scoliosis revision, disc replacements etc surgery 2.5 yrs ago. If I were to seek out diagnosis I feel sure I have fibromyalgia. Have also felt my thyroid is compromised. I know I also have weak adrenals, etc. I have food allergies and intolerance. I have not had flu shot in 20 years because I was so sick that year. I have huge responses in my body most noticeable with my narcolepsy symptoms. But I am now on a journey of healing my body. I am 43. Almost 2 years ago I found Dr. Robert Morse's website and hundreds kf YouTube videos.
I am on a couple groups on FB that support what Dr. Morse is trying to teach to others about food, our bodies, the lymphatic system, cell regeneration and detoxification. He is brilliant. I don't quite jive with everything he says when he talks about his spirituality but definitely have seen improvements in myself and feel very confident in his knowledge and those in his practice and in testimonials of people healing all the time. Please look him up! It's amazing to me to now see the correlation of my health journey even beginning from day 1. Keep going with your instincts you beautiful moms out there!!! It's time for us to claim our health back and quit letting the allopathic community and health care system bully us and lie to us for their gain. They're not even taught the truth. That's the saddest part.
Hello Ladies, What a confusing time to have things going wrong with our bodies and yet not knowing why. I have been working from Home as a Natural Therapist for 20 years. Most of what I have learnt has been from my own health challenges and those of others. I too have a A- blood type. I have had 5 pregnancies. 2 of them were with babies with A+ Blood type and both times I had Toxemia and kidney’s failing. I ended up having about 6 shots of the Anti D after nearly dying. I could feel the pain in my bum for 18 months afterwards. All sorts of health challenges since that pregnancy and 2 miscarriages afterwards. I have always believed that this was a factor but told it wasn’t. My body has stored the toxins in my fat cells so as to keep them from affecting my vital organs. Our intelligent bodies really are amazing. I have recently learnt of an amazing technology that I am about to start using.
I have high hopes it is going to restore my cellular health and enable me to finally rid my body of the toxins and subsequent inflammatory responses which have caused, thyroid, fibroids, cysts, adenomyosis, lipomas etc. If anyone is interested to know the results, I am happy to be contacted. Hope others are finding answers and living healthier lives. My one pregnancy without any problems (perfect from end to end) was my daughter who is O- blood type. She is now 27 and has not had children yet. I hope these things I have found will help her before she has her children.
