I have been prescribed the above patch for chronic pain 10 mcg. I also take Percocet and Neurontin - for at least 30 years. Will I be OK? I also know you have to be careful with heat. What about if you have a hot flash? Pain management doc said I could use Percocet for breakthrough pain if needed. Thank you.

I don't know about combining the patch with Percocet and Neurontin. You could ask your doctor or your pharmacist. Showering in very warm water and having a hot flash will not cause a problem with the patch. I am wondering what kind of pain are you having that the patch is for. My stroke caused severe migraines that I would need to go to the ER about every 3 weeks. After starting the patch at 15 mcg, I never had to go to the ER again. Then many years later, when I was wearing the 10 mcg patch, I had terrible back pain. Increasing the patch to 15 mcg took the back pain away.
After several months, I brought the patch down to 10 mcg again. Recently I heard a lecture by a renowned Pain specialist who said that opiates do not continue to help pain. I don't know the true answer to that.
