If I get home too late from work I can't my seroquel, 300mg, because I won't be able to wake up in the morning. The nights I can't it, I can't sleep. I toss and turn and become very irritated because I am tired. Does anyone else have this problem and if so what works best for you?
If I miss a dose of Seroquel I can not sleep that night. Is this normal?

I too take Seroquel every night if i don't have it i don't sleep. I take 300 mg. I was taking 200mg and the Pharmacist suggested that my Dr lower the dose so that my body could do some of the work but instead he increased it to 300mg a day.
I take 400mg every night. It does bother me some because if I miss a night, no sleep at all. If I miss 4 or 5 days, I go into serious withdrawals. Can't get out of bed or I start drive heaving. No eating. Very little dinking. Its like detox.
the same thing happens to me i am on 100mg of seroquel and if i miss one dose i can not sleep the whole night and i can be up the next day all day without being tired ... if i dont take it for multiple days in a row i can still not sleep or i will sleep for 2 hours and then wake up for work / school and be fine
Absolutely! I wouldn't get any sleep i i didn't take mine. It may be an idea to ask for lower strength tablets, so that if you get home late you can take a smaller dose, so you can get some sleep and still wake in time in the morning? What is the latest time you take your medication? Are you on immediate release or extended release?
