At the moment,Lyrica is a Schedule V, and I don't think its schedule as a narcotic but the FDA could change that at any time. I hope my answer does helps you.
lyrica is a controlled drug, in a lower schedule group then most of the narcotics. Some idiots think its fun to abuse it.
