Although Lupin 500 is an antibiotic, Keflex, if your toothache is caused from an abscess it will help you in the long run. You'll have to take something else for immediate pain relief but Keflex is a pretty strong antibiotic that will knock out most soft tissue infections fairly quickly. I've used it myself for oral infections. Good luck.
You don't know the name of the drug? That always bothers me, because it should be on the label. Its not going to stop a toothache, its an antibiotic not an analgesic. If the toothache is from infection it would help the infection after a few days of taking it, but most toothaches aren't infection. Try some ibuprofen.
