My doctor suggested I take lunesta with orange juice when he first prescribed it to me. Ive had no problems with the taste. As for dry mouth, all medications seem to do that so I keep a bottle of water at bedside.
I spent more time getting up to get a drink or get something to try to get the taste out that I got less sleep than before I took it. The taste never went away so I went to trazadone. Hope this helps and Good Luck with this I hope the taste goes away
