I took gabapentin for two days - Friday night and Saturday morning for anxiety (as needed). This medication has tons of side effects. I felt unwell today. I thought I am coming down with the something again. I read the side effects on here and it does say flu like symptoms and feeling of warmth. I did not take any today or last night since the side effects are too much for me.
How long does it take gabapentin to leave your body?

I concur with wild vet. I was on 2900 and I had to take it every several hours or it wears off. Odd that you are being treated with gabapentin for emotions. Typically prescribed for chronic pain or seizures.
The side effects are not great. Also watch your weight as it messes with your metabolism eh. No matter how much you diet.
Hello! Gabapentin has a half life of approximately 6 hours meaning that after 6 hours 50% of your last dose has left your system, after 12 hours 75% has left your system, etc. Every trace should have been eliminated by your kidneys in just over 1 day.
Hope this helps.
