Yes I am taking 7.6 twice a day.
15mg is a good start; BuSpar(buspirone) gets of your system quickly within 2-3 hrs, so just give the medication time to take full effect.
That’s a great question. You may start to feel it working right away, but for Buspirone to reach a therapeutic level in your body it can take up to four weeks. My advice is to be patient with it. I’ve been on it for nearly 20 years with great success. Don’t be afraid to try different dosages with the help of your prescriber. Unfortunately for those of us that suffer from anxiety, finding the right medication and dosage amount sometimes requires trial and error. I hope this helps, good luck to you!
Hi, Luluball!
As Tyrese said, you should start seeing improvement in the first couple of weeks but it takes 2-4 weeks as a rule for the medication to become fully effective.
I've been taking it for about a year now and I find it to be very effective too.
Everybody responds differently to these types of medication so there's no fixed dosage for all.
Some folks do well on lower doses but others need higher ones. For example, my husband takes 20mg/day and I need to take 60mg/day.
Don't worry... you'll find the right dosage for you quickly.
BuSpar(Buspirone) may take up to 2-4 weeks before you start seeing improvements. I’ve taken Buspirone and found it very effective for anxiety.
Are you taking 7.5mg twice daily?
