Does the grogginess in the morning after taking hydroxyzine, lesson over time or will I always feel groggy the morning after taking this?
My first night taking this resulted in me sleeping for almost 12 hours straight. I'm finding it hard to wake up. Will this lesson?

Yes the grogginess do subside within a few days. I took hydroxyzine and had the same feeling but went away within 2 days. If grogginess do continue overtime, you can try taking it earlier at night(around 7-8pm).

Or as masso said; perhaps you need a dose adjustment.
Usually common side effects work themselves out within 2 weeks once started treatment, if it does not subside do inform your Dr., perhaps all you need is a dose adjustment.
