Is it a common side effect to have shortness of breath? I have taken this in and off for a while. I don't know if it's just me having the sob due to anxiety or the medication.
Just wondering if anyone else has taken hydroxyzine and wanted to see how it helped them?

Shortness of breath hasn't been reported as a potential side effect but that doesn't mean it's not possible.
To be sure you should ask your doctor or pharmacist.
I'd probably say it's from the anxiety. I've taken 100 mg for about 2 months when my anxiety was so bad I couldn't sleep. Even then I would get about 3 hours of sleep! Now I take about 12-13mg a night just to sleep if needed.
