If you have not been to the Dr. yet, I suggest you make an appointment in order to be evaluated by a medical professional.
Best of luck, masso
Hello Masso,
Thank you for responding promptly. It's a relief to know there are people who care. Last May 10, I just went on my regular trekking by our trail, on my halfway my 3rd round I blocked out, couldn't breath, if I inhale my chest felt like exploding, I basically crawled out if the trail to reach our driveway. Didn't want to die without someone finding me. So the difficulty breathing, shortness of breath went, went to the emergency, had an X-ray, nothing was wrong and sent home, one week after I'm still hard of breathing, went back to the emergency, had blood test and another X-ray, they said everything was normal, sent home with Salmol inhaler. Finally got an appointment with my family physician, I'm due for spirometry and heart monitoring test. Hopefully we could figure what this is as I have been sleepless as the difficulty breathing gets more prominent at night.
It's been 3 weeks now, I still can do my chores and even walk 10,000 steps but the SOB comes and goes. I'm so scared. Some say this could be just anxiety or panic attack? If it is, I really want it to stop.
I suggest you see a specialist, a Pulmonologist.
Wishing all the best, masso
