How long should I wait to take my nightly Ambien after I take my gabapentin around 4pm? Tonight I took my 4pm gabapentin and had no plans so decided to get ready for bed early an took my Ambien 10mg around 6:30pm and I feel like I'm literally floating! How long should the wait time be for these 2 meds? It would have been nice to know this was going to happen!

I'd give it at least 4-6 hours between taking them. Definitely ask your doctor, he/she can tell what's best for you. Ativan alone made me feel "floaty" too.
