I have Norco, Opana, Xanax and Baclofen. I've taken all of them, to no avail !!
I am afraid of the Opana situation, as some of you know my history with OxyContin, my oh so lovely cold turkey withdrawal off of it, true hell on earth it was.
I've taken a hot bath, I am trying to relax, yet NOTHING, any suggestions my lovely family??

thanks vonniepie, ye are ever so sweet gurl, methinks the prayers are working, that and the meds. tis gettin' a wee bit better now at 7:50 est. THANK YOU LAWD!!! AMEN JESUS!!! sorry for the smartassery, but i'm given to it as you all know. i actually am grateful to God for his grace!! as irish gran would say HEY IT COULD BE WORSE PRINCESS!!! LOL

I feel for you. I am in the middle of a flair and I can't even type I have to turn the microphone on. I am so sorry for you these are so horrible. Can I ask you one little question can you treat a migraine in the middle of a Phibro attack I've never had one before but this headache is horrible. I will pray big prayers for you God bless you ibed

I find when I am having a major flare up there are a couple of things I do personally. First I try to relax as much as possible, either by reading a good book, taking a relaxing bath with epsom salt which works wonders for those aching mucles of ours, and I also try to examine what it is that has my fibro flared up. Most of time I can pinpoint it. I know you know this, but stress really causes our fibro to flare up. The longer your body and your mind is under stress it has a tendency to make the fibro worse.
When I have identified the cause of my flare up I focus mentally on the situation. I know that within my self, I don't have the means to control every thing that is going on around me. So I pray. Some times the Lord calms the storm, and some times he calms the child in the storm. I hope this help and please know I am praying for you.

Hi Sweet Lemon, I have had a really good day today. My pain levels have been at the lowest levels that I have experienced in a while. Tomorrow as they say is another day. So glad you are doing much better. You hang in there.

I'm so sorry you are having a rough go of it. I wish I had a magic bullet for you. I just don't know what to tell ya. How much Opana have you taken today? I wouldn't worry about getting hooked on it as you aren't going to be taking regularly.
I know you may not feel like it, but a short walk to stretch the muscles may help. I'll contact my sister and see what she has to say. Hang in there and I'll say a big prayer for ya.

Thank you for your response and your support gurl !! I've taken two opana today, and I do NOT take it daily as you know I am afraid of getting addicted to it. Do you know how much is safe to take, and I beg of thee, don't tell me to take as directed!!! Can I safely take another one?? They are 15mg ER tablets.
I am loathe to admit this, but IF I could, I would DRINK MY DINNER TONIGHT!
Abject pleading apologies to all alcoholics and addict friends, no judgement, not tonight PLEASE???
I also have been eating TONS of NIGHTSHADES of late, bad bad Lara!!
I know better so perhaps I deserve what I have created? Nahhh maybe not, but I do know better!!! NO more chile peppers for this gurl.
