Hi,
Everyone is different, it is hard to say, it varies from one person to another as everyone reacts to everything differently in life, specially medications.
I believe you should be getting some relief by now, for full therapeutic benefits it may take from 4 to 6 to 8 weeks max depending on your organism and how it assimilates and absorbs the drug.
You are on a low dose, I believe you should discuss, after being on it for 3 weeks of 5mgs. a dose increase to 10mgs..
Talk to your Dr..

Hi, Enzo!
Some people might see some indications of improvement in the first few weeks but it can take 6-8 weeks or longer to feel the full benefits of the medication. . Anxiety disorders are much more difficult to treat than other mental issues like depression.
You were started on a low initial dose so you may need an increase. This is common and "normal". You might give your doctor a progress report (or lack of progress) and see what they think.
Best regards, Wildcat
