Is pristiq and lamictal a good combo for major depression, I am not bipolar. Was worried about taking both. Thanks for any help.

It's a great combination if it works for you as everybody responds differently to these types of medication.
Pristiq is used to treat MDD (major depressive disorder) and Lamictal is an excellent mood stabilizer whether you're Bipolar or not. It's frequently prescribed as an add-on to another medication which is usually an antidepressant.
I take lamotrigine (generic for Lamictal) for both depression and anxiety disorders.
I'd definitely say it's worth a try.
