I have been on Lexapro, desvenlafaxine and am now on Prozac for anxiety and recently discovered I have bipolar II disorder. None of the antidepressants have worked and I am wondering if I should be hopeful in trusting lamictal and risperidone to work for my anxiety and mood swings? I am feeling hopeless but have trust in God.
How long does it take to notice a change on anxiety and bipolar II disorder with Lamictal?

Hi, G*disgood!
I too am Bipolar ll and I can't take antidepressants at all because they induce manic episodes. If this happens to you ask your doctor about using bupropion (Wellbutrin) which is an atypical antidepressant that works well for me without the side effects.
My psychiatrist added lamotrigine (Lamictal) about a year ago after other mood stabilizers didn't work well. It's been very effective for me and I certainly think it's worth a try.
Best regards,
Wildcat
PS, I also took risperidone for many years but needed to switch to Vraylar because I have had manic/depressive and mixed episodes in the past.
