I have been using Nexium for many years, first by prescription and when that ended by over the counter. My complaint is that why can't it be packaged in 14 or 28 or 48, etc. instead of 14 per bottle. I sit and open each bottle and place the capsules in one large bottle. It would reduce the cost for us older people, is it because the pharma companies would lose money. I have to purchase it no matter what because I can't do without it! But please, cut the cost down!
Cost of Nexium is too high because of packaging?

Many people who need occasional TX typically follow a two-week course of TX. One pill daily for two weeks. It's the way the BRAND Nexium is packaged. If someone needs a different amount they should obtain a prescription for the GENERIC Nexium. It is much less expensive and the quantity can be determined in any amount. I used the generic but it didn't work for me.
i also tried the generic and it didn't work for me either. But still they can package it in different amounts. The people that need it for only two weeks can purchase only the amount they need,.
